What inspired you or led to your current career?

It was one of those moments of epiphany. Around the time I was finishing with my bachelors degree, I started doing yoga.  I realized, when I sat down that both of my hip bones did not touch the ground at the same time. So, I decided that wasn’t right and maybe somebody who knows bones might fix it.  I walked into a chiropractor’s office, and I just knew this is what I am supposed to do. I did some research and the more I learned about Chiropractic, the more I realized it was congruent with everything I knew I wanted in a career. I was enrolled within six months.

What is your favorite restaurant in Athens, and what do you love there?

There are so many great restaurants! If I am going out for dinner, Donna Chang’s. Everything there is so good. The wontons are amazing! For lunch or brunch, I like Heirloom Cafe.

If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?

I am the person who has a passport in my back pocket at all times. I love to travel. I guess if I have to choose, I would really like to go to Machu Picchu and hike. At this point, the places that I travel need to be in nature or to be able to really experience the culture, like a smaller town.

What is your favorite movie or what is the first movie you remember seeing in a theatre?

E.T. is the first movie I remember seeing in a theatre. I remember waiting outside, there was a humongous line of probably 100 people.

What advice do you find yourself giving people often?

Listen to your body and follow your heart.

If you could see any band or show anywhere, dead or alive, what would it be and where?

I would love to see Stan Goetz in my living room.

What is one of your favorite things to do in Athens?

Going on a trail hike at the Botanical Gardens or any of the parks, or having a drink with a friend and sitting outside somewhere like Seabear.

What is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?

After I graduated chiropractic school, I worked in a hospital for 2 months in a small town in central China.

What three words or phrases come to mind when you think of the word “home”?
