Cora Allen

Cora Allen is a lifelong Athenian, born at St. Mary’s in 2010. She is a 3rd grader at Barnett Shoals Elementary. She loves gymnastics, reading, art and animals. She lives with her mom Tonya, dad Paul, big sister Mia and dog Punky and is anxiously awaiting her family’s adoption of a new dog sometime very soon.

 

 

What is your favorite restaurant in Athens, and what do you love there?

 

Cali-N-Titos because I love their chicken quesadillas and their ice cream.

 

What is your favorite thing about your school?

 

A lot of teachers are very nice, and they help around even if you just drop something in the hallway, even if they are not your teacher, or don’t even know you. And, a lot of my friends go there. And, the lunch is good.

 

How long have you lived in Athens?

 

My whole life.

 

If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?

 

Maybe Egypt because I want to see all the pyramids and stuff. See how big they are.

 

What is your favorite movie or the first movie you ever saw in a movie theatre?

 

One of the first movies I ever saw in a movie theatre was Frozen, and one of my favorite movies is The Greatest Showman.

 

What is your favorite band?

 

I have a few. The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Backstreet Boys and that is about it.

 

If you can choose anyone to have lunch with, dead or alive, who would it be?

 

I would want to have lunch with Zendaya.

 

Where do you see yourself in ten years?

 

College, UGA.

 

What is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?

 

That I once had rats as pets.

 

What three words or phrases come to mind when you think of the word “home”?

 

Friends, family and happy place.
